I Spy 10! - counting game for kids

The "I See 10" game consists of a box full of cards, with different sea animals depicted on one side and numbers from 1 to 10 on the other.

The goal is to turn over cards until a combination of numbers whose sum is 10 is seen. In this situation, the child wins the cards, but if they see a shark, they will have to return all of them.

"I See 10" can be played by several people. The set consists of a total of 100 cards, 90 of which have numbers and 10 with sharks.

HOW TO PLAY:

• Flip the cards from the box onto a flat surface, face down. The cards should be at an equally accessible distance to each player;
• Start flipping cards over one by one randomly. Carefully examine all the flipped cards after each subsequent one;
• If a player can make a sum of 10 with two or more cards (e.g., 4 + 6 or 3 + 5 + 2), they say: "I See 10" and take the corresponding cards for themselves. To make counting the score easier, a pile can be made from each trick;
• If two or more players simultaneously shout "I See 10," the player who first says where the sum is - for example, 8 + 2 - takes the cards. If players simultaneously announce where the 10 is, these cards are removed from play;
• Beware! If you turn over a shark, you return the shark card back into play, as well as all cards collected so far.
• Continue turning over cards until all cards are flipped and no more combinations of 10 can be made.
• Count each player's score - how many times they have collected tens. The one who has collected the most - wins the game!
