Born in Birkenhead in 1945, Derek Roberts knew very early on what he wanted to do. He graduated from art school there in 1960, after which he was hired to work for the Ford Motor Company as a designer. In his work as an artist, he excels at recreating nostalgic scenes depicting moments from training and competitions in various motor sports, as well as various vehicles from the 1950s and 1960s. Derek is also passionate about recreating landscapes and seascapes, some of which are in private collections worldwide. Among his paintings of classic vehicles, vessels, airplanes, trucks, and portraits, there are some that can end up in your home as amazing, high-quality puzzles.
